Sarah Javed Shah

a first-year Ph.D. candidate of Architecture, Urban and Interior Design at DAStU, Politecnico di Milano. She is Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. She researched on the vernacular contemporary architecture of Pakistan and received distinction in Master of Architecture in 2013. She has twelve years of professional practice and teaching experience. She is registered with PCATP (Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners) and is an associate member of Institute of Architects, Pakistan, affiliated with Architects Regional Council Asia. She convened the International Student Jamboree, as part of the IAPEX, Lahore in 2018 and 2019. She has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and have presented in international conferences. She is a certified reviewer for the Elsevier Journal of Sustainable Cities and Society.
